
MANASQUAN — A man who fell overboard while at sea was rescued by a crew member of the Salty
Tours just after 11 a.m. today, said Coast Guard authorities.
The man, who was not identified, fell overboard from a 24-foot boat four miles off the coast of Manasquan this morning.
A crew member of the Salty Tours reported to the Coast Guard that they had spotted a person in the water and were working to rescue him.
The person was transferred from the Salty Tours boat to a Coast Guard rescue boat crew from Station Manasquan Inlet.
The rescue boat crew transported the victim to Station Manasquan Inlet and he was transferred to Ocean Medical Center in Brick.
