WALL — Township police are investigating two daytime burglaries that were reported by Marconi Road residents.

Today at 11:30 a.m., police said, a resident reported hearing a loud bang and confronted a man walking in the hallway of the house, police said.

That man, described as Hispanic, possibly in his 30s, with a thin build and about 5 feet 10 inches tall, ran away after being confronted, police said.

Police said they are also looking for a dark blue van with multiple thin white stripes in connection with the burglary.

Detectives are also investigating a burglary at another Marconi Road residence that was reported Tuesday. Police suspect the burglary occurred sometime between noon and 5 p.m., according to Detective Sgt. Peter Lokerson.

Anyone with information on either crime is asked to call detectives Rick Pasqualini or Chris Scerbo at (732) 449-4800.
