
COLTS NECK — A Kathleen Drive home was destroyed in a fire early this morning, police said.
No one was injured in the fire, which was reported just after 12:30 a.m. today.
The house was unoccupied, said Detective Sgt. Joseph Whitehead.
The home was for sale, with an asking price of $840,000, and the homeowners were living in Interlaken, police said.
The Colts Neck police and fire departments, and the Monmouth County Fire Marshal's Office responded.
Detective Richard Zarrillo, the fire marshal's office and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office are handling the investigation.
